Well, ok, here's the story, and I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

I have been on birth control for over a year now. Never had any real problems since I started it. Well, the month before last, my period didn't exactly come when it was supposed to. For a whole year it had started on the Wednesday of my placebo pills. Well, the month before last it came a little late (i think still on Wednesday but not at the usual time). Then, last month, it came on Monday (second day) of the placebo pills, which has never happened before. I chalked this up to the fact that I had been on anti-biotics, which I know can affect the pill, and then I had to take a Diflucan for a yeast infection which also affects the pill. Now, this month it has started today, on the Tuesday (third day) of the placebo pills. It hasn't started full force today but it's definitely there.

So really, I don't know what is going on. Why all of the sudden is it acting up when it didn't for a year before? I am currently heavier in weight than I was a year ago, and I know that weight can affect it too, but I don't know if that is what is causing this. If anyone has any ideas why it is acting up, please let me know! I'm sexually active but we have been using condoms ever since I was on the antiobiotics (due to the fact that my period has been screwey ever since then). Please help!!!

Okay it happens...even if your on the pill your period is never the same..I have been on them for 3 years and its been umm and down i normally start on thursday but sometimes it monday and sometimes its friday..its okay as long as you are having your period your good to go..

You sorta answered your own question but i understand wanting to have some back up on it...medication can alter your pills, so during that time you need to use other precautions.

The medications probably threw it off.  If it's still not on it's regular schedule, it may be developing a new schedule, or it may just be taking time to go back to the old schedule.  The body often needs time to regulate itself.

You sorta answered your own question

Ding!

You said for yourself that the meds you're taking can fuck around with the pill. Why else would your periods be all over the place?

def. the meds. as long as you are still having your period then there's nothing to worry about. if it gets too wonky you could always ask your doctor for a different type of BC.
