I like putting a galon of gas on brush and wood, and throw a match on it... would that impress you?

One day some guy is going to try and impress you and then light himself on fire. It will be all your fault  Tongue

Yeah, I think pyromania is when you like to play with fire, not watching someone else do it.  But I guess it could work that way too.  Personally, when the guys are messing with fire, I'm too busy laughing.  It's like primal man on the quest for fire the way they huddle around getting a bbq started or lighting fireworks.  It's just too cute and funny to be sexy for me.

I am a real pyro, people im not kidding.
I respect fire, I love it, I find it fascinating, so many times I have wrote posts on this forum while lighting a lighter. I also catch alot of different substances on fire just to see how they react, like certain alcohols, or that hand sanitizer which is 62% ethyl alcohol.

I'm really good with explosives. Would that turn you on?

Although i'm more into harnessing power of water than fire.

Personally, I love fire myself, only I prefer to play with it.  Though we accidentally lit the field behind our house on fire (it was across the street, but still).  We got the little fire put out ourselves, but then we spotted a car coming our way.  Being that the back of our house faces the field, we all ran and jumped the fence.  When we looked back over, the car had stopped to inspect what we were doing.  Oops!  My brother and sister also tested hairsprays to see if they were really flamable by using them as blowtorches.  Amazingly enough, only this one called AquaNet lit up!  I didn't approve of it, though.  I was afraid they were going to light the fence on fire.  As cool as that'd be, I like having a place to live.  And, ya know, not being grounded for life.

NEVER spray one of those cans and light it, if it back trails into the can your hand is gone.

That wouldn't happen. Not enough oxygen in the can for anything inside to burn.

Bs, I have heard on multiple accounts of this happening.
Remember what you told me... about black powder, there are probably oxygen atoms within the different compounds.
All in all, it does happen.

The contents of aerosol cans like deoderant require oxygen to burn so will only flame outside of the can because inside is mostly liquid in any case. Thats why sometimes when compressed accelerants like that burn outside the can the area very close to the nozzle (a few mm) is not burning because there is a lack of oxygen there only fast moving aerosol spray. Black powder explosives burn in a vacumm though they use two solid rocket engines like that for the first stage on the space shuttle.

simple, candles and lots of them. watch him light them which will get him in the mood and from what you have said close to orgasm (possible multi) and that is one of the safer ways to play with fire. (note: safer not safe) fire is a dangerous thing blah blah blah etc. just have the fire station on speed dial and that way after they put out one fire they can put out yours (they can be so hot) and if a match turns you on then tell him to get a blowtorch (portable) and that way he has to be there for it to work and it is great control of fire

ps. i take no responsibility of turning your bf into a pyro

It is ok to be a pyro, just not a pyromaniac.
Man has been fascinated with fire the day he harnessed it. It is wired within us.

I also wanted to add that sometimes pyromania is a result of being sexually abused, as well as other types of abuse and trauma, generally during childhood.  There's a ton of info on the internet about this, so I was surprised that no one mentioned that in this discussion yet.

Here is a little info about Pyromania from:  www.bmhcc.org

"Pyromania centers on setting fires. Most children go through a stage where they like to see fire. This is normal. If they are taught about fire safety, supervised children can assist adults around a campfire. Some children still manage to sometimes sneak away and play with fire. This is frightening, but it is not a psychiatric disorder. Pyromania is something different.

People have pyromania only if they meet all of these signs. They:
* set fires on purpose more than once,
* are very tense or very excited before setting the fire,
* seem fascinated or attracted by fire and objects, people, or situations around fire, and
* experience pleasure or relief when setting or watching fires.

A person with pyromania does not set fires for money, to express political beliefs, to hide signs of a crime, or to show anger. It is not pyromania if someone sets a fire in response to a delusion or hallucination. It is also not pyromania if the person setting the fire is in the manic phase of bipolar disorder, has a conduct disorder, or has an antisocial personality disorder. A true pyromaniac just likes fire.

Most pyromaniacs are male. Although children set a lot of fires, pyromania usually occurs in adolescence or adulthood. People with this disorder may have poor social skills. Many have learning problems. Pyromaniacs tend to plan in advance to start fires. Many of them like to watch any fire they can. They may like to set off fire alarms. People with pyromania often do not seem to care about the loss of property, the injuries, or even the deaths that result from fires.

Pyromania is extremely dangerous to the person with the disorder as well as to others. If you suspect that someone you care about may have pyromania, ask your primary healthcare provider for a referral to a mental health professional as soon as possible."

I also wanted to add that sometimes pyromania is a result of being sexually abused, as well as many other types of abuse and trauma.  There's a ton of info on the internet about this, so I was surprised that no one mentioned that in this discussion yet.  But, that is a more serious topic than what is being discussed here I think.  Just getting your thrills from watching someone else light a fire does not qualify one as a pyromaniac.  no worries Smiley

Man is fascinated with fire, end of story. A pyro is someone who loves fire, I love fire, I like to watch it, it is eye candy. A pyromaniac is someone who starts fire for destructive purposes, or perhaps starts fires at the wrong times.

I hate watching a woman light a cigarette, it is slowly killing her. I hate watching anyone light one.
